The Antique 1890 Victorian Ruby and Split Pearl Ring
Sold April 2025
This ring features a wide band with two rubies accompanied with seven split seed pearls in deep settings laid out in a geometric pattern. Lined detailing on the shoulders lead to a plain band. There is an engraving inside the band which reads "M McJ".
This ring is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham for 15ct gold in 1890. There is slight nacre wear to some pearls, but all stones remain well held and the ring just has usual marks and wear commensurate with age.
