This gorgeous ring features a turquoise gemstone surrounded by ten dreamy pearls in deep settings on a wide band. Lined and dotted detailing accompanies the shoulders, which leads into a plain band.
Turquoise gemstones and pearls were popular in Victorian jewellery as they were believed to bring good luck, protect the wearer, and symbolize wealth and luxury.
This ring is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham for 15ct gold in 1886. It is in good condition with light marks commensurate with age.
