Thomas & William Aston made jewellery at Regent Place, Birmingham in the Victorian Era bearing the sponsor's mark 'A&S' on their hallmarked gold jewellery.
This 15ct gold piece made by them features an emerald and two seed pearls. held in ornate settings, with scrollwork shoulders, joining to a band fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham in 1868 for 15ct gold.
A well presented antique ring, with a clear history and in good wearable condition.
