The Ancient Medieval Monogram Gilt Ring

This gilt ring features an oval shaped head with an engraved monogram. The shoulders are wide which slopes to a slimmer band.

This ring, circa 100-1400 AD (assumed the latter), shows signs of wear but is in fully wearable condition.

Provenance: Acquired as part of a group lot from an established ancient antiques gallery in north London. A photocopy of the certificate from the gallery will be included with your purchase. Formerly from an old British collection formed in the 1990s.
