The Ancient Bronze Rune Ring

This bronze ring has a circular head, featuring a runic design. Ancient runes could at times be combined, forming intricate depictions with encrypted meanings. Circa 100-1400 AD, the band is worn and is still in fully wearable condition.

Provenance: Acquired as part of a group lot from an established ancient antiques gallery in north London. A photocopy of the certificate from the gallery will be included with your purchase. Formerly, in a private UK collection; From an old Oxford collection formed in the 1980s.
