The Ancient Bronze Animal Ring

This bronze ring has a circular shaped head which depicts an animal, potentially a hare, framed with a dotted boarder. The shoulders have some lined detailing some of which has worn away.

Circa 100-1400 AD, this ring is worn but is in fully wearable condition.

Provenance: Acquired as part of a group lot from an established ancient antiques gallery in north London. A photocopy of the certificate from the gallery will be included with your purchase. Formerly, in a private UK collection; From an old Oxford collection formed in the 1980s.
