The 1872 Half Sovereign Signet Ring

This signet ring features an 1872 Victorian-era 22ct half-sovereign coin set in a vintage 9ct mount with wide shoulders. To the back of the coin there is a depiction of young Queen Victoria's head.

This ring is fully hallmarked by the Assay Office of London for 9ct gold in 1988. The ring head has some small scratches visible under high contrast light but the ring is in good wearable condition.
