The 15th Century Pense De Moy Band

This wonderfully preserved and fully wearable Medieval wedding band prominently features the inscription 'pense de moy' on its inside in heavy letter script. The phrase translates to 'think of me'. A testament to the importance of wedding jewellery over the last 600 years.
The Victoria and Albert Museum, London, features a medieval ring (no. M222-1962), with a similar inscription.
Formerly property of a UK gentleman, acquired from a London gallery in the late 1980s, and before that from a private European collection formed in the 1960s and 1970s.
This ring is in exceptional condition and is fully wearable.
