Split Shoulder Cluster Diamond Engagement Ring, Antique, 0.8ct, M½

Sold for £1,499.00

This bright and stylish cluster ring holds 7 diamonds totalling approximately 0.8 carats of in a cluster atop split shoulders with huge light space under the cluster for a stunning diamond ring.

The ring is accompanied by what is believed to be its original box, from the jeweller William Henry Douglas of Stourbridge. The talented jeweller, optician and watchmaker placed patents for watch mechanisms throughout the Victorian era. A watch using his patent is said to have been given to Edward VII on or about his coronation and is in the Royal Collection. The ring is stamped 18ct & Platinum.

All our rings are delivered in our high quality ring boxes. As the box pictured with this ring may contribute towards its provenance the box will also be included. A printed copy of the covering page and the relevant pages of the Watchmaker, Jeweller and Silversmith Trade Journal will also be included. A PDF copy of the full journal can be sent via email on request.
