This purchase includes the two repair receipts pictured dated 1936 and 1962, as well as its repair receipt from 2020 and its SafeGuard Jewellery Assessment report.

The ring was recently assessed by SafeGuard who, based on the ring alone, gave an estimate that the ring is Georgian and date the ring to approximately 1820. We have the original receipt for its purchase back in 1936 where the jeweller stated it to be circa 1760. This will be included in with the purchase, as well as a repair note from 1962 when three smaller stones, presumably lost, were replaced with Swiss cut diamonds. The ring tests as 18 carat gold and sterling silver. The ring went for additional cleaning and repair in 2020 and is once again ready to be worn.
