The brilliant cut diamond of roughly 0.05 carats sits inside a white gold gallery with excellent lighting to allow the gem to sparkle. The ring is hallmarked for 18 carat gold by the assay office of London.
1968 was a year rich in history, from Apollo 8 orbiting the moon, to The Beatles premiering their Yellow Submarine film.
This ring is in good condition with a strong band and well held diamond. It has clearly been well cared for over the past 50 years.
