The Edwardian Floating Diamond Engagement Ring

This light and bright Edwardian ring from around the beginning of the 20th century features 5 graduated old cut diamonds of approximately 0.2 carats (between 3mm and 1.38mm each) in a light gallery held aloft by an ornate three oval arrangement with rolled shoulders.

The ring is hallmarked 18 carat gold from the Chester assay office. One of the nicest things about this ring is how light it looks with its open arrangement to hold the diamonds, letting in maximum light so the diamonds can sparkle.

At over 100 years old this ring is in very good condition. It has been well cared for during its first century of wear.
