With 3 old-cut diamonds, each in a square mount the 18 carat gold shank joins platinum to cross grip the platinum setting. Each diamond is bright and clear and shines well backed by the platinum setting.

The style of the ring and its setting capture the core principals of Art Deco design, while the diamonds' cut point to the turn of the 20th century.

There is very small engraving on the inside of the shank (so not visible when worn) from the original owners who likely used this ring as a symbol of their affection a century ago. The ring has been well cared for and is in great condition.
