Eight old cut diamonds each with a strong natural shape surround a cornflower blue sapphire as the principal gem. To the sides two more sapphires sit atop the angled shoulders.
This ring is hallmarked from Chester, in 1919 during the reign of George V. The strong angled shoulders with the circular gallery are particularly striking as design approaches seen in the Art Deco period.
At over 100 years old this ring is in great condition and has clearly been well cared for.
